Preposition of movement adalah jenis preposition yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan pergerakan dari atau ke suatu tempat. Sama seperti preposition yang lain, preposition of movement juga ditampilkan dalam kalimat dengan bentuk prepositional phrase yang terdiri dari preposition dan object preposition yang berupa noun (kata benda). 👉 Across – Melintasi
Contoh: I walked across the football field. (Saya berjalan melintasi lapangan bola.)

👉 Around – Mengelilingi
Contoh: Around the block (mengelilingi komplek)

👉 Over – menyebrangi benda lain
Contoh: The ball is over my head. (Bola itu melewati kepala saya.)

👉 To – Ke / Menuju
Contoh: to Bandung (ke Bandung)

👉 Toward – Menuju / Kearah
Contoh: she walk toward me. (Dia berjalan kearahku)

👉 Up – Naik ke
Contoh: Let’s go up stairs. (Ayo naik ke atas)
